Our Programs
At our Little Scholars, we tailor a curriculum to each stage of a child’s development.
For infants (0-1 y.o.), our Nursery Program fosters early development with sensory stimulation and caring interaction. For toddlers (1-2 y.o.), we focus on sensory play and singing. Kids aged 2-3 y.o. benefit from the dual-language Frog Street Curriculum. Our 3K (3-4 years old) emphasizes social skills and academics, while UPK (4-5 years old) combines STEM and self-play. Children 3-5 have an Extended Day with activities like yoga, coding, and chess. Our Summer Camp prioritizes outdoor fun and teamwork.

This is one hundred percent modern daycare Cameras are now almost everywhere, but no other kindergarten has such advanced communication. They have online groups for parents, we often receive photos and emails with news. The classrooms are equipped with new furniture and different toys. They are also eco-friendly. Children eat from disposable dishes. I really like it, my daughter learns to take care of the environment from an early age. For four months my daughter has been studying there and therefore I know what I am saying.

This place in our family is associated with a place of goodness. Most daycare use the old system and will be asking for a lot of money! This is not the case! Anyone who was interested in how a child’s brain and spirit works in the preschool period of life know that children are unable to perceive information that is declared in other childcare institutions. In this daycare special attention is paid to the emotional and psychological education of the child, which, in my opinion, during this period of life is the most valuable for kids. Brand new place, loving teachers with outdoors and an App/brightwheel that you receive daily updates and photos of your little one. The best daycare in the area! I will share the experience of our family, maybe this information will be useful to someone) Previously, my husband and I thought that all daycare are good and were very wrong). When I brought him to another (I will not name) daycare the teacher did not even consider it necessary to even get to know the child on her own. The child survived only 4 days. Passing by this daycare on a weekend, he screamed “nooo” and began to run away in the opposite direction ( Then a neighbor told us about Little Scholars Of course, we went to look for him and from the first meeting it was love, warmth, a feeling of security and comfort) From that day we began to go to this garden) the child went there with pleasure.

This childcare center is amazing! Our son attended here for daycare when he was 2 years old and I’m glad they also offer UPK so he’s back for preschool as well. The staff do a good job at keeping parents up to date with photos or videos of classroom activities, as well as messages and newsletters in the app to keep us updated on general announcements. The teachers take the time to speak to parents to bring up concerns or updates as needed. I wish they also had kindergarten as I know my son really likes the staff and children.

…Excellent conditions of stay are provided in Little Scholars. Children are in the daycare from 8:00, this moment is very important for us, since we work a lot. Our teacher always tells the child that parents are the most important people in life. I have no feeling of guilt that I did not give something to my son, I am sure that thanks to the educators and their diversity in teaching methods, good and thoughtful nutrition, the son has a lot more than I could give him sitting at home. For a year now we are coming here with pleasure. I really love this daycare because it provides high quality education. The tutors and children prepare cookies, dance and much more. Each toy is chosen with a deep thinking. The decor that is created in space is just like in a fairy tale. Before eating, children must wash their hands! It is rare to see people treat their work that way. I really want the daycare to flourish, and children could get such a good treatment. I was lucky that I found it for my child.

- The center will act to care for them while limiting disease spread.
- Symptoms like fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, or severe coughing will prompt the center to ask you to pick up your child within an hour.
- Parents should pick up promptly and see a doctor. Please note that upon returning to classes after experiencing the above-mentioned symptoms, a doctor’s note is required.
- Notify the center of any diagnosis to help manage disease spread.
Be familiar with the center’s illness policies and return requirements. This safeguards all children’s health. Cooperation ensures everyone’s safety and well-being.
Payments are due on the 1st of each month to ensure continued daycare services. There’s a five-day grace period until the 5th; after that, a $5 daily late fee applies.
Please pay on time to prevent service interruptions. Contact us with any payment questions or concerns.
- Visit In-Person: Collect an Enrollment Packet at any of our centers where our staff will assist and answer questions.

Please fill out the packet accurately. After submission and fee payment, we’ll arrange a tour and discuss next steps. We’re excited to welcome your child to our nurturing environment!
At Little Scholars, we believe in using positive methods to address unwanted behaviors.
- Positive Reinforcement: We redirect behaviors using positive methods, not punishment.
- Gentle Reminders: Our staff will guide your child back to the task and praise correct behaviors.
- Quiet Time: If disruptions continue, your child may have a calm, individual activity time within the group to refocus. This isn’t punishment but a way to help regulate emotions.

- Immediate Notification: We’ll inform you right away.
- Quick Response: Please come immediately or, if you can’t, we’ll call 911 for urgent medical care.
- First Aid: Our staff will provide first aid and any necessary interventions as per NYC DOHMH guidelines, including administering medications or an EpiPen if required.
It is important that you inform the daycare center staff of any allergies or medical conditions that your child may have when enrolling them in the center. This will allow the staff to take any necessary precautions to prevent an allergic reaction from occurring.
Staff members are not able to administer any medication, whether it is over the counter or prescription.
- Self-Arrangement: If medication is needed during daycare hours, you must arrange to give it yourself or find someone else to do so.
- First Aid: We provide first aid and topical antibacterial ointment, but not medication.
- Planning: Ensure your child’s medical needs are met by planning for medication administration when required.
