We’re seeking a patient and creative Lead Teacher for the 2’s Classroom — someone who understands that every toddler milestone is worth celebrating. This role is perfect for an educator who finds joy in guiding young children as they develop language, confidence, and early independence.

What You’ll Do
- Create a calm, welcoming classroom that promotes exploration and routine.
- Plan sensory-rich, play-based activities that build communication and self-help skills.
- Support early language and social interactions through positive guidance.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through open communication.
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized environment that supports active learning.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to maintain consistency and care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (minimum 12 CORE ECE units).
- At least one year of experience working with toddlers or two-year-olds.
- Understanding of early developmental milestones and learning through play.
- Creativity, patience, and empathy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet state and licensing requirements.
- Ability to commute to 600 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10011.
Preferred Qualifications
- NYS B-2 Teaching Certificate.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
